Coupons and deals
Hello, my fellow coupon clippers. As you have probably guessed from the appendix of discounts on my wedding’s gift registry page. I’m all about promotional deals. Marketers lose money on me all the time.
For credit card promotions, the easiest thing to do is to Google “credit card deals $100.” Every few months for the past year or so, I sign up for a credit card and receive $100 or more in gift cards. You might as well, as long as you spend very little on them–enough to receive the reward bonuses. There are $50 signing bonus (Discover keeps offering this promotion), but I don’t recommend taking them. There are plenty of $100 if you are willing to wait.
Chase has stopped accepting applications for the best credit card out there, the Chase Rewards Plus Visa.
For the Indianapolis area, Coupons4Indy.com is a great place to go to get discounts on local restaurants and other places. I use the Quizno’s $2 off a regular sandwich regularly.
If I notice anything else, I usually post it to my del.icio.us account under the coupons tag.
