I hear the new deal over Darfur doesn’t mean anything
The decision of the Sudanese government to finally allow a joint United Nations-African Union peacekeeping force into the Darfur region doesn’t offer encouragement for a region devastated by war. It sounds like an empty deal, since African Union doesn’t have any more troops to send.
