Irish bar with guys from my Sunday school
On Wednesday night, I went out to an Irish bar with guys from my Sunday school class for over two hours. I was the youngest of the six there by about four years. We talked about the failures of the American school system and how many of us planned on home schooling. Two of us are married to teachers and one of is a teacher. We discussed other subjects: cars, cultural experiences abroad, organic versus local groceries, and our jobs, but we focused on education. It felt like college for the most part. Our conversations were sometimes humorous but without the adolescent antics.
