What is a poke?
My mobile phone was beeping for attention the other night, and I read in a text message that Emily Craghead had poked me. Ok, whatever that is. So I found this explanation in Facebook’s help section of what a poke is:
We have about as much of an idea as you do. We thought it would be fun to make a feature that had no real purpose and to see what happens from there. So mess around with it, because you’re not getting an explanation from us.
Ah! Now I understand!
