Stephen’s Book Reading list
Rachel and I frequent our local public library for books, audio books, and the occasional movie. It’s not that irregular for me to take a box with me to our library branch. The decline of reading books (and other long formats) will not have a corollary effect on knowledge, but will affect on concentration and critical thinking. I also read or listen to a variety of magazines, podcasts, and lectures. Below are the ten most recent books I have either read or am currently reading.
- Nova Scotia, New Brunswick & Prince Edward Island (Regional Guide)
- Banff, Jasper and Glacier National Parks
- Son of Hamas: A Gripping Account of Terror, Betrayal, Political Intrigue, and Unthinkable Choices
- Country of My Skull: Guilt, Sorrow, and the Limits of Forgiveness in the New South Africa
- Little Bee: A Novel
- This Time Is Different: Eight Centuries of Financial Folly
- Africa's World War: Congo, the Rwandan Genocide, and the Making of a Continental Catastrophe
- Portfolios of the Poor: How the World's Poor Live on $2 a Day
- In Other Rooms, Other Wonders
- American Original: The Life and Constitution of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia
